The portrait is not occupying the whole area of the composition; the photo was taken to far away from the subject matter. The majority of the values from my value scale were used, but not all. In the composition there is indeed been a broad value range. The portrait does indeed break each value into a flat plane. The grid was used properly to place all of the shapes in proper proportions to the face. I did a good job at straying away from the outlining of any part of the face, instead I carefully placed each individual cut out, with the respective value, to establish the “outlines” on their own. The final design has been executed in a professional matter. All the required materials that I had at my disposal were used properly and accurately; with the exception of the Bristol board mounting. I did not use proper measurements to mount the design.
